1. Common Questions

Q: Can I take back the home after construction?

Sadly No. We require a deposit (usually 50%) that is built during the first week of work. We do this so that we can survive as a company and produce the best design deliverables for a very competitive price point. For monthly subscriptions we have the option to pay at the beginning of the month or bi-weekly, so that invoices will be given out every other week with a 15 day payment period.

Q: What is a home?

A project is a website that you build in Webflow or Invision and consists of pages or views for both Web or Mobile projects. You can publish projects to a Webflow.io staging subdomain for free, export the code on a paid plan, or add hosting on any plan to connect your custom domain and unlock hosting features. You can preview your Figma project that showcases the design on Invision and this link can be shared to clients, your team and can communicate design changes with Invision's commenting feature.

Q: Are homes delivered next day?

Yes! All content on Webflow sites is rendered on our servers and served through SSL, so your pages will be searchable and prioritized by Google. You can also edit meta and OpenGraph tags to optimize each page.

Q: Can we hire your designer for additions?

When you work with Pixel Designers you might fall in love with their work, style and communication technique. Remember that most of your project deliverables are worked on by 2-5 designers (a team). There are situations that your designer that you speak to directly has a desire to take on a full-time position with your company. If this case arises we look at both parties to make sure its a good fit. You will not be charged a placing fee.

Q: Whats the difference between a design task and a project?

A project generally contains an end deliverable such as a website design, a mobile app design, a logo or brand guide. A design task are small sections, illustrations or animations within a larger project. The term "Large-Project" means that that the project is robust enough to include multiple stakeholders, multiple pages and can include multiple smaller projects like landing pages, logo and product design.

2. Home and Appliance Licensing

Q: Are the designs we receive every month ours to do what we wish?

Yes! Everything we produce will be yours if you pay your bi-monthly or monthly dues. The only time we will suspend work or revoke your license (add watermarks) will be when payment is either late or void.

Q: What about using templates and stock photos?

Everytime we use a template, stock photo or a graphic that is made by a third party we make sure to purchase it for your project legally and register this asset in your name so that your assets within your project is compliant.

3. Our Homes & Customizing

Q: Can my clients upload their own content?

On the CMS and Business hosting plans, your clients can log in to use the Editor and add new content to the CMS, or make updates to the site right on the page.

Q: What kind of support does Simple Homes provide?

We offer fast email support to paid accounts and prioritized help for team accounts. Community support (forum.webflow.com) is available to free accounts.

Q: Does Webflow have ecommerce functionality?

Not at this time. However you can integrate an ecommerce solution using custom code integrations and our CMS.

Q: Can I trial Webflow before paying?

Sure! You can test out Webflow on our free plan where you can experiment with 2 projects. Your unhosted projects will have a two-page limit, but you can purchase a hosting on a per-project basis to unlock up to 100 static pages and additional CMS pages.

Q: Does Webflow have an API?

Webflow has a REST-based API you can use to add, update, and remove items from your CMS. Read the documentation.

Q: How much traffic can the hosting handle?

Hosting scales automatically to handle millions of concurrent visits. All hosting add-ons serve sites through our Amazon's Cloudfront CDN and accelerated using Fastly, loading sites in milliseconds.

4. Pixel Pricing Plans

Q: Can I cancel my account plan at any time?

Sure thing. We offer month to month plans that are generally billed at the beginning of the month and every other week. At anytime that you are not satified with the work, you can cancel the contract and we will stop work. If however, you have already paid for that month we will not return the funds and will have to carry out the deliverables through to the month's terms.
